New Years

Happy new years to you and yours. May your year be filled with happiness and joy. May life be kind and may love overflow. May passion and purpose abound. May wishes come to pass and may needs be found fulfilled. May wisdom flow like wine and may your heart be full. These are my resolutions for the year to come for each and all.

Day 10

Off to see the Romans. There is an old ruin about a 10 min bus ride inland. You can see the baths as well as a amphitheater. Next building over is he Matisse gallery. I enjoyed about 5% of what they called art. The rest was just crap. After enjoying all the history a sandwich was needed and some chocolate.

Day 9

Bonjour mes amis. Today was so hard. Got up, ate food, got ready, went to the bus. So hard. Took a bus today to enjoy the city of Menton. It's an old seaside town on the border of France and Italia. They even speak there own form of wonky fretalian. Or so I'll call it. Below are a few pictures of what was found there.

Day 8

Bad news folks. It was another beautiful sunny hot day here. Yep. Went to a family home once owned by the Massena family turned museum. They had a good chunk of money. After went to the world smallest natural history museum. Followed that up with a trip to the modem art gallery. Below are a few pictures from the day.

Boxing Day & Day 7

I put these days together cause well on Boxing Day there was nothing to report. Spent the day just being and not doing. Today however went to the gallery next door to the house. They have a very small collection of mixed art. Some romantic, some religious, some modern. It's an odd place. Below is a picture of said gallery.

Christmas

Well another Christmas has come and gone. Wishing everyone the most joyous Christmas. I thought I would miss all the gifts and mayhem off the season but I have to say the joy in spending a day thinking about nothing more then what Christmas is really about and my baby chickens cooking time has been great. Walked up to the remains of an old chateau today. Enjoyed the sun, maybe some wine and family. Merry Christmas one and all.

Day 4

Merry Noel eve to everyone. What a beautiful day again here in Nice. I swear this is heaven. Heaven with French people gate crashing. Spent the day today just walking about doing some shopping and drinking some gassy water. The sunset today was magic. I am putting a picture of my home here below as well.

Day 3

Today was class registration. Went and got tested and got my placement. French get ready to become my bitch. After a nice walk around the shore line. This place is amazing.

Jour 2

Well today was magic. Spent the day in Monaco with a friend from Australia. Then went out to an Irish bar and the danced on top of a table at a bar full of English people that I shall not go back to. All in all a great day.

Day 1 France

Today we got to know the lay off the land. Went out looking at some shops and enjoyed the seaside. This city is amazing and beautiful.

Day 26

I'm leaving on a jet plane. I don't know when I'll be back again. So off to Nice, France I go. Funny thing is that I saw more Louis Vuitton in 5 mins at the Nice airport then I did the whole month I was in London. Talk about buying local gone mad. So anywho went for some Italian food and will start plotting out my next moves tonight.

Day 25

Time for one last big night out and soooooooo ... Oh and a great thing. I finally found a laptop bag I like. Yippee.
