Day 40

Today we took Elena to Cannes to go catch a boat to the Île Sainte Marguerite. This is the place where the man in the iron mask was held. It's a great museum and island. So relaxing and beautiful. After we took her to an Irish bar for some chips and beer. Hello great Friday. Pictures below are from the island and the cell where he was kept.

Day 39

Today a friend arrived. Took Elena around the village and to one of the museums for a quick introduction to the city. Enjoyed some of the art and statues. Tomorrow we are heading to see the place the man and the iron mask was kept. Let the fun begin.

Day 38

This is my 70'th blog. Thank you to anyone who is still interested. I'm very excited for tomorrow. My friend Elena arrives here for a nice long weekend. I'll have some better pictures over the next few days. Today was a day of cleaning and preparation for her visit. The sun was back out again. Back to the beautiful Nice I've grown to love.
