Montreux to Chateau de Chillon - Switzerland - A walk on the lake

Took the train to Montreux to enjoy some views of Lake Geneva.  The walk is beautiful and thankfully only 15 mins from home.  The Chateau is well worth the visit.  It has a great spot to look out over the lake and take in the area.

Bern - Switzerland - Day Trip

A much needed break from Aigle took us to Bern.  The nations capital and fantastic place to spend the day.  From the cathedral on the hill you can see the beautiful river.  Due to it being winter the bears were sleeping and not available to be viewed.  A trip in the summer to see them will be in oder. 

 

Leysin - Switzerland - Snow Shoe Day

Time for some physical activity.  We finally got some amazing snowfall, up the hill we go.  You really start to feel like you are on top of the world here.
