Jour 25

Today we decided to take a nice train ride to the walled city of Entrevaux. It's about 1.5 hours into the Alps. It is a medieval town from the 11 century and stands very much as it was then. You can walk up to the citadel which is a painful butt numbing trek. The view however is amazing. Once on top you can actually keep going up the mountain which we did. I was not dressed right and did this all in patent leather dress shoes. I call myself the stylish hiker. I took a lot of pictures but bellow are a few of the best. It really is a place you have to see to believe. Best part was we had the whole town to ourselves as it is off season and no one was there. Lucky for us everything is unlocked so you can still look around the big sites.

Jour 24

One week down and one to go. Yippee. Classes are still good. Learning a lot. Using some more French like French language things. Words and such. After class we decided to have a big meal so we went to Quebec. Well the restaurant anyways. They make good pizza. They also own 4 restaurants on the same block all with different names. If you pick any you give money to all. Sneaky. The Creme brûlée was perfect just so ya know.

Jour 23

Another magical day of learning. Today we learnt about the future and how to speak of it. English is so much easier. After class a quick look in some shops and a food stop. After homework on the waterfront again till my book got pooped on by a bird. After home to study and to watch more French television and study my French book. Tomorrow is Friday which means one week down one to go. Can't wait for this weekend. Going up into the mountains. Below is the nasty clouds of the day. Also just for fun; Roquefort is so special to the French it even comes in a special container. There are even rules on how to eat it if you are among friends.
