Jour 22
Another day at school. Learning about French and all of the wonderful exceptions there are to this fine language. This is not to say at all that I feel comfortable saying much more then, fantastic or very magnificent. After class today went to the wonderful thing here called Soldes. In France a store can only sell product below cost 2 times a year. The government regulates the date and length of the sales. Today was day one. To a Canadian or American the sales are ok being 30 - 60% off on average. Nothing like the crazy 80% off that we can get on boxing day or black Friday. Still I walked away with a couple blazers and a great vest for next to nothing. Felt so good to shop again. I miss it so much. :) The men in the south of France dress VERY casual. Most in sweatpants and leather jackets. The stores have a lot of very boring black grey and white clothing as that is all the men here wear. I must read as foreign as my jacket is green. After some good retail therapy lunch was taken on the beach again and homework was done. All in all a great day.
